Terms of Service & EULA
Last Updated: September 15, 2026
1. Agreement to Terms
These Terms of Service and End-User License Agreement ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Liminality ("we", "us", or "our") concerning your access to and use of the ShipKit macOS software, including the graphical studio (ShipKitApp), command-line executable (shipkit), and related website (getshipkit.app).
By downloading, installing, or executing ShipKit, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
2. License Grant
Liminality grants you a personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable limited license to download, install, and execute ShipKit on Mac computers that you own or control for personal, educational, or commercial app release workflows, in accordance with these Terms. ShipKit Free includes the release workflow for one app, up to 20 releases. Pro is available for $79 per year or through an early-bird lifetime license at $99, limited to the first 50 lifetime purchases. After the early-bird offer ends, lifetime access for new purchases will cost $199 one time. The pricing change is managed by Liminality. Existing early-bird lifetime licenses do not become subscriptions. Lifetime desktop licenses include future desktop app updates; optional hosted or usage-based services are purchased separately.
3. Intellectual Property Rights
ShipKit and its original interface, design systems, icons, algorithms, and core documentation are the exclusive intellectual property of Liminality and are protected under copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or derive source code from the compiled binaries, except to the extent permitted by applicable law.
You retain 100% ownership and copyright of your applications, source code, disk image wallpapers, and release assets created or processed through ShipKit.
4. Acceptable Use & Apple Developer Compliance
You agree to use ShipKit only in compliance with all applicable local and international laws, as well as Apple Developer Program agreements and guidelines. You are solely responsible for ensuring that applications signed, notarized, and distributed using ShipKit comply with Apple's Hardened Runtime requirements and Developer ID terms.
5. Disclaimer of Warranties
ShipKit is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. Liminality does not guarantee that subprocess archiving, Apple notarization ticket issuance, or static web deployments will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with all future Xcode or macOS versions.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall Liminality be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, business interruption, or Apple Developer account status, arising out of or related to your use of ShipKit.
